XR4Human Kick-off meeting!

XR4HUMAN is a new research project that takes aim to address and develop the ethical & human-centred sides of extended reality (XR). The work of the twelve partners in the project is being coordinated by the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN). The consortium agreement was signed by all partners in June 2022, and work started in November 2022. Representatives from the consortium members met in Kongsberg for the project kick-off 15th and 16th November 2022.

XR4Human is a three years EU-funded and its mission is to co-create a living guidance on ethical and related policy, regulatory, governance, and interoperability issues of XR technologies whilst building public trust and acceptance and a strong and competitive ecosystem around XR technology for trade and industry, but in a manner that establishes trust among users and authorities.
